Dr. Melody Vanoy joined GHX in January 2022 to serve as vice president of Diversity & Inclusion. Prior to moving to GHX, she was with Trinity Health (TH), one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic healthcare delivery systems in the nation with over 125,000 employees serving people and communities in 22 states from coast to coast. 
  
During her 24 years in healthcare, Dr. Vanoy has held clinical and non-clinical roles of increasing responsibility, including Radiology Diversity Representative where in addition to serving as a radiography technician, she was also responsible for developing and implementing the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programming for the department. As the System Director of Diversity, she was instrumental in the re-design of TH’s system-wide DEI strategy which further aligned the work to the overall business of TH.  

Most recently Dr. Vanoy was in the role of Regional Director of Diversity and Inclusion where she not only designed and targeted local DEI strategies for her region which included Maryland, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Florida but also coached board members, senior executives and leaders on leveraging DEI opportunities in their overall business goals and outcomes. 
  
Dr. Vanoy serves as a board member of Mental Health America of Southeast Florida, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting mental health and victory over mental illness and related challenges through education, prevention, advocacy, research and empowerment. 
  
She holds a Ph.D. in Organization and Management with a research emphasis in bias outcomes in diversity education, an MBA in Global Management, and an undergraduate degree in Art History.
