Procure-to-Pay Transformation: A 3-Year Enterprise Journey

In 2018, Stanford Medicine began a multi-company, multi-ERP, enterprise effort to completely transform how it transacts all types of non-labor spend. With a focus on people, process and technology, Stanford Medicine’s AP and Supply Chain teams delivered substantial efficiencies, scalability and a modern approach to procure-to-pay. Among the results is a year-over-year improvement in GHX ranking from 96 to 16, with further improvements in progress.
