Dr. Patrick Osam is a distinguished medical professional with a long and accomplished career in general, trauma, breast cancer and laparoscopic surgery. A pre-med honor graduate of Hendrix College in Central Arkansas, he earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas Medical School, where he also completed his general surgery residency and later served briefly on the Surgery Department teaching faculty.
Dr. Osam entered private practice at Baptist Health in Little Rock in 1978 and went on to build a respected career marked by both clinical excellence and leadership. After retiring in December 2016, he began serving in a consultation role with Baptist Health in 2017, with responsibilities that later evolved through a corporate appointment to Chief Medical Officer for Clinical Quality/Value Analysis and the Supply Chain Department. He currently serves as a member of the Clinical Committee for Captis.
