Alex has more than 15 years of experience in supply chain leadership, operations, and management. After completing his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Virginia Tech, he was commissioned in the U.S. Army and spent six years as an Army Logistics Officer with the 1st Infantry Division in Fort Riley, Kansas. During his time in the military, Alex served in a wide variety of logistical roles both domestically and internationally. As a multi-functional logistician, his areas of focus were ordnance logistics and storage, transportation and maintenance, food service, contingency medical operations, and government contracting. He served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, providing contingency logistics support to a multitude of different military units, non-governmental organizations, and civilians. Following the military, Alex spent several years with Johnson and Johnson on their strategic customer group focused on programs that brought efficiencies and savings to customers.Alex Joined Medline in 2019 as a Logistics Director with responsibility for the Mid-Atlantic region of the country. Today, Alex is the Senior Director for Medline’s Supply Chain Optimization team and works with healthcare partners to optimize supply chain operations, improve efficiency, and develop solutions for healthcare supply challenges.
