Allen previously Directed Strategic Sourcing at MedStar Health. Prior to his 7 year Healthcare System Supply Chain career, Allen spent 13 years in medical device sales and sales leadership. With more than seven years leading systemwide sourcing, contracting, and value analysis, and over 20 years in healthcare Allen has been recognized for advancing vendor partnerships from both the vendor and Health System perspective. Allen holds an Masters In Business Administration, a Bachelors in Engineering, was Certified as a Cardiac Device Specialist by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners, and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.
