Salil Joshi is a senior director, analyst in Gartner's Healthcare Supply Chain practice, providing research insights, advice and thought leadership to healthcare provider clients. His areas of research include supply chain strategy, procure-to-pay, master data management, track and trace initiatives, and regulation requirements for healthcare providers. He primarily focuses on assisting healthcare providers by advising on maturity model development, best practices for managing supply chain data and systems, and performance metrics to measure supply chain success.

Previously, Joshi was senior director, Healthcare Industry Engagement and Partnerships, at GS1 for seven years and a senior manager at the healthcare consulting firm Nexera for 10 years. He holds a master's degree in Industrial Engineering (thesis: Supply Chain Management) and a bachelor's in Electronics Engineering.
