René Gurdián is an experienced supply chain professional with a decade of experience. With three years in the petroleum industry and eight years in healthcare, he has gained valuable insights. At Ochsner, Gurdián has held various roles, including vendor management, sourcing/contracting, and currently, supply chain strategy and decision support. 

Gurdián’s optimistic goal is to be a catalyst in revolutionizing the supply chain by automating workstreams and providing or developing user-friendly platforms to simplify complex tasks to support our heroic workforce. In parallel to the emphasis on automated workstreams, Gurdián believes that establishing data management and data integrity practices as a fundamental core tenet within the healthcare supply chain will significantly enhance an organization’s ability to maintain accurate, reliable, and consistent data, leading to improved decision-making, sustainable cost control measures, and increased efficiency.
