
Jennifer Kuntz serves as the program manager for the Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) Medical Logistics Information Technology Program Management Office (MEDLOG IT PMO), part of the Solution Delivery Division. In this role, Kuntz is responsible for the development and sustainment of IT systems supporting the Military Health System and other federal medical logistics and acquisitions programs. MEDLOG IT systems under the major Acquisition Category IAC (ACAT IAC) Defense Medical Logistics-Enterprise Solution (DML-ES) program serve more than 24,000 users and process more than 940,000 daily supply requisitions with annual supply requisitions valued at $4.5 billion.
Kuntz is a retired Army Medical Logistics Officer with over 15 years of combined experience and leadership in healthcare logistics, information technology management, and acquisitions within the Army and DHA.
Prior to her selection for this position, Kuntz has supported the DHA MEDLOG IT PMO as a contractor, serving as the lead and primary liaison with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Logistics Redesign (VALOR) Program Management Office (PMO) in support of the VA’s health care logistics and supply chain modernization effort. Additionally, she served over as the US Army Medical Materiel Agency’s Program Manager for the Theater Enterprise Wide Logistics Systems, and commanded the sole Medical Logistics Company in Afghanistan, providing medical logistics and medical maintenance support to 232 customers, including coalition forces, and managing over 1,200 lines of stock to support deployed military medicine for all units in Afghanistan.
Kuntz holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Baylor University, a Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgetown University.
