DanNita Crawford is the manager of Procurement for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. She joined the Lurie Supply Chain team in 2018, where she was responsible for streamlining processes for the procurement of supplies and services, and the management of multiple offsite surgery centers. She also helped to lead the transition of Lurie Children’s main distribution supplier from Cardinal to Medline. 

Before joining Lurie, Crawford worked in multiple facets of the healthcare industry, including inventory management, manufacturing, and distribution. She also served in the United States Navy, where she started her supply chain career in Navy warehouses and was responsible for the oversight of outfitting repair budgets.  

Crawford has a Green Belt certification from Villanova University and is a member of AHRMM.
