Joe Bichler brings over 15 years of expertise in supply chain management to his role as assistant vice president for Strategic Sourcing and Value Analysis at Advocate Health. His career journey began in distribution before transitioning to the healthcare sector in 2017. Throughout his tenure, Bichler has demonstrated a keen ability to navigate complex challenges, notably leading the integration of contracts and value analysis programs during the merger of legacy Atrium and AAH, now consolidated under Advocate Health. 

His leadership has been instrumental in driving Advocate Health’s Value Analysis Program, emphasizing collaboration across a multitude of disciplines as foundational to successful partnerships in driving optimal sourcing strategies and value-driven decision-making, all centered around the patient's needs. 

Bichler holds the Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional (CVAHP) credential and is actively pursuing his MBA at North Dakota State University (NDSU). He has been a key contributor to the Advocate Health Supply Chain team, which earned a #10 ranking in the Gartner Healthcare Supply Chain Top 25 for 2024.
