Danny Stehle is the U.S. Order Automation & Billing Manager for Smith+Nephew located in Memphis, TN, reporting directly to Robin Curry, Director of Order Excellence & Automation. In his current role, Stehle and his team are responsible for creating and maintaining all electronic order and billing avenues for Smith+Nephew. His team focuses on constant improvement of the order and billing automation and touchless orders process.

Stehle has been with Smith+Nephew for 16 years in various roles. The last eight years were spent with the Order Automation and Billing Team, starting as an EDI Analyst and then advancing to Team Lead and Manager. Stehle has been able to implement several automation projects improving inbound/outbound transactions to deliver, accurate order and billing data in a timely manner.  

Prior to joining the Order Automation and Billing team, Stehle was a team lead for a custom knee instrument line. He was responsible for developing and maintaining the production order process and shipping for domestic and international cases. 

Before joining Smith+Nephew, Stehle was an account specialist for Maybelline / L’Oreal, responsible for managing and promoting valued relations with key accounts. By implementing continuous improvements for EDI order flow, Stehle improved on-time deliveries to 98% with a 95% fill rate.

Stehle earned a BBA degree in Management from The University of Arkansas at Little Rock in Little Rock, Arkansas.
