Suzanne Smith, BSN, RN, is a solution advisor at GHX, where she supports clients with redesigning value analysis programs and improving physician engagement. Smith, a registered nurse with over three decades of experience and a value analysis professional since 2005, has held various clinical and value analysis positions. For 13 years, she worked in supply chain at MaineHealth, the largest healthcare organization in Maine, most recently as director of Value Analysis. 

During her tenure, Smith successfully developed a clinically-oriented value analysis program and provided regional support to her colleagues. Under her leadership, MaineHealth received accolades and awards for program excellence from suppliers and GPOs. Prior to joining GHX, she spent one year (and returns each year for a month) on the North Slope of Alaska working as a Public Health Nurse serving native villages. 
 
Smith holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Northeastern University. She is an active member, Association of Healthcare Value Analysis Professionals (AHVAP).
