Tim Heist is currently responsible for the Workday ERP SCM operations for Bon Secours Mercy Health. His responsibilities include all aspects of Workday SCM and the other technologies that are deployed within Bon Secours Mercy Health and Advantus Health Partners. This includes numerous third-party vendor engagements and integration of ERP data with clinical and financial systems. 

Heist has implemented the Workday SCM ERP application for 37 hospitals. He has managed many high-level projects throughout his 25 + years at both Bon Secours Mercy Health and Bon Secours Health System to include ERP systems, distributor conversions, major clinical and financial system implementations, supply item charging program, and other information technology related projects. 

Heist’s previous positions with Bon Secours include director of Data Management, project manager of Data Conversion for the implementation of Infor Lawson S3 ERP system, and director of Information Technology and Services and Operations Manager while at Bon Secours Holy Family Hospital. 

Previous employment includes Shared Medical Systems (was Siemens, now Cerner) and United States Army, both active and reserve duty. Heist has extensive experience with ERP systems, healthcare operations, procurement, business contingency planning, and information technology deployment and data analytics.

Heist is a graduate of Saint Francis University, Loretto, Pennsylvania and Penn Technical Institute of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
