Attendees are responsible for their own ground transportation between the airport and hotel.  

Transfer between the airport (AUS) and JW Marriott is 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

 

Meals will be provided to all registered attendees beginning with reception fare on Monday evening through breakfast on Thursday.   
  
The JW Marriott offers a variety of vegetarian / gluten free / nut free items during meals and breaks.​

How to add sessions to My Agenda

  • Log in to app for full functionality
  • Browse agenda then tap on a session 
  • Tap the clock icon in lower right
  • Tap +

To remove the session, tap the clock icon again.

Selected sessions now display in My Agenda

Note

  • Multiple sessions can be selected in the same time slot
  • Session selection is not required to attend the session

 

Dress throughout the Summit is business casual. Evening events are casual.

Check in at the GHX Summit Registration Desk on the 4th Floor, Grand Ballroom Foyer, to get your badge and printed program. Badges should be worn at all Summit activities.

If a registrant would like to bring a guest to evening functions, a Plus One Pass is available for purchase.

Daytime sessions and meals are excluded. Respectfully, other than the Plus One Pass for evening events, please make separate plans for spending time together with non-registrants, such as family and friends traveling with you.

At GHX Summit 2024, therapy dogs from Austin-based The Dog Alliance will make several visits to meet and greet attendees! The Dog Alliance is a nonprofit organization with a mission to utilize well-trained dogs to improve the lives of individuals and families in the Austin and surrounding area community. Its programs include:

  • Hounds for Heroes - Providing life-changing service dogs to veterans disabled in the line of duty.   
  • Bow Wow Therapy Dogs - Providing certified therapy dogs and handlers to assist children in learning to read, patients and employees in reducing stress, seniors in bringing joy and laughter, and all humans who need to heal mentally and/or physically. 
  • Dog Alliance Learning Academy - Providing self-esteem-building kid summer camps, dog training classes, and private lessons to help families enjoy their furry family members. 
  • Dog Sport Enthusiasts - Providing sports for puppies, canine fitness and AKC dog sport classes in agility, rally, lure coursing and nosework.

After Summit, most Breakout and Summit20 Talk sessions will be accessible for on-demand viewing in June 2024. You will receive an email when they are available. Keep an eye on your inbox. 

Your attendance at most breakout sessions of the Summit will earn you CECs (Continuing Education Credit) hours as approved by AHRMM. The number of contact hours earned is based on badge scanning for CEC-qualifying sessions.

CEC certificates will be emailed to provider-based Summit participants in June.
