Cathy Richier is the director of Accounts Payable at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
She has over 16 years of experience in the hospital and healthcare industry and another 15 in the IT industry. 

Having a degree in Economics and strong accounting background, Richier sees the bigger picture with how processes really affect the bottom line. She gets excited to create efficiencies and has led the accounts payable area to a paper-free environment and automated invoice processing with an impressive 85% of PO invoices being touch free. Thus, the AP team time has been freed up and is now able to focus on value-added activities and collaborating with supply chain management to create further efficiencies.  

Richier wanted to automate things in her personal life, so she just obtained an e-bike in effort to keep up with her bicycling enthusiast husband. Who says efficiencies should only happen in the working world!
