Shawn Cooke, a global process leader of Master Data Management, has been with Owens & Minor for 17 years and manages Owens & Minor’s master data for both the medical distribution and global products business units. He collaborates with teammates throughout the organization to establish data governance policies, create data quality metrics, and ensure good data stewardship in the target domains. Previously, he served as a sales analytics manager, specializing in custom procedure trays. 

Cooke served as director of Business Intelligence at Medical Action when it was acquired by Owens & Minor. Previous to Medical Action, Cooke was with Medegen Medical Products. Throughout his career, Cooke has served in Customer Service, International Exports, Market Research and Sales Analytics.  

Cooke is a member of the HIDA PIM Workgroup and the GS1 US National Data Quality Program Regulated Healthcare Pilot. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages at Mississippi State University and is fluent in Spanish and French.
