Ted Robertson is a managing director at the nonprofit ideas42, the largest general practice behavioral design firm in the United States. Robertson leads the application of science-based design to health systems, products, and services to improve outcomes and experiences for patients and providers. 

Previously, Robertson founded the world’s first municipal “nudge units” in Chicago and New York City, and now consults with leading health systems, insurers, public health agencies, and healthcare companies. He also sits on the executive committee of the NIH’s (National Institutes of Health) Roybal Center on Healthy Aging at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Immediately before joining ideas42, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the Harvard Kennedy School.
