REGISTRATION & ATTENDANCE
GHX does not currently expect that proof of vaccination, masks, social distancing or capacity limits will be required to attend GHX Summit 2023. However, please note that requirements may be instituted at any time if circumstances warrant. 

Attendees are expected to support and respect anyone who chooses to wear face coverings or continue practicing social distancing in connection with GHX Summit 2023 and should not make any assumptions about why. GHX will provide masks at the on-site Registration Desk and hand sanitizer throughout the event. GHX asks for all attendees to help Summit 2023 remain an inclusive, safe place for everyone.

GHX will continue to monitor COVID-19 and other public health and safety conditions and related recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and others. GHX will communicate to Summit 23 registrants by updating this page if circumstances change significantly.

Registrants who experience symptoms of COVID-19 within the five days prior to the beginning of Summit 23 (i.e., May 4 – 8, 2023) are asked to test for COVID-19. If the results are positive, or if you will remain within a recommended isolation period as of the first day of the Summit, do not travel to or attend the Summit. 

From April 10 – May 9, any individual with a paid Summit 2023 registration who is no longer able to attend due a positive test for COVID-19 may apply their payment towards GHX Summit 2024, scheduled for May 13-16, 2024, at the JW Marriott, in Austin, Texas. 
 

The terms of this option are as follows:

• 100% of the paid fee will apply to the registration fee for GHX Summit 2024, and no portion will be refunded at any time (including in connection with any later cancellation for GHX Summit 2024).
• This option is in lieu of any refund and substitution rights, including as described in the Substitution & Cancellation Policy in the GHX Summit 23 Terms and Conditions.
• Request must be made by email to summit@ghx.com.
• Emailed requests must be received no later than 11:59 PM Mountain Time, May 12, 2023.
• Once the email is received, the registrant cannot revoke this option.

EVENT CANCELLATION
GHX reserves the right to cancel all or part of the in-person GHX Summit 2023 in its discretion. If GHX elects to cancel the entire in-person Summit due to public health concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, GHX will notify registrants by email and refund all paid registration fees using the same payment method of the original transaction (e.g., credit card, check). Additionally, GHX will cancel all room reservations made in the Summit room block at the Hilton Chicago. Attendees will need to cancel their own travel arrangements, and GHX will not reimburse for cancelation or change fees.

BACKGROUND
GHX and the Hilton Chicago are committed to doing their part to maintain the health and safety of all Summit 2023 attendees and staff. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other diseases exists in any public place. COVID-19 continues to be a very contagious and evolving disease that can lead to severe illness and death, and people in certain age groups and with certain health conditions may be at greater risk. By attending GHX Summit 2023, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and other communicable diseases and release and hold harmless GHX, its affiliates, the Hilton Chicago, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, volunteers, representatives, successors, and assigns from any liability for any illness, or injury, or death arising out of or relating to attendance.
