Dr. Christopher Thoming is from Portland, Oregon, currently serving as a regional chief medical officer within Legacy Health. Formerly, he led Legacy’s urgent care clinic network and was also a founding partner and shareholder at NW Acute Care Specialists, an emergency medicine physician group. 

Previously, Dr. Thoming served on the boards of Legacy Health, the University Club of Portland and the Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital Foundation. He also served on the board of New Avenues for Youth, a social services agency in Portland serving homeless youth. 

Dr. Thoming earned his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University and both his medical degree and MBA from the Oregon Health Sciences University.
