Jodi Weinzetl joined Medtronic in 2004. She currently is the senior director for the Global Education and Commercial Excellence for the Lung Health and Visualization iOU at Medtronic.  In this role, Weinzetl leads teams dedicated to driving clinical value and support to our customers, as well as a team devoted to developing and delivering sales training efforts across the globe for the commercial organization. 
 

Prior to this role, Weinzetl held a variety of sales leadership positions within the CVG business – CVG Strategic Accounts. She started Medtronic in the Coronary business, starting with director of Strategic Sales Programs, followed by district manager, area sales director, and senior director of Commercial Operations.  
 

Weinzetl has 30+ years of experience in the medical device arena. She worked as director of Operations at Medical Simulation for two years and prior to that spent 12 years at Cordis. Her roles at Cordis included director of Professional Education for Cordis Endovascular. She led the development and implementation of professional education strategies designed to leverage Cordis Endovascular’s leading-edge technology in areas including stenting procedures, distal protection and AAA. Other experience at J&J encompassed sales, sales training, key account management, and sales management in both Cordis Cardiology and Cordis Endovascular divisions.
