Dr. Stephanie Thompson has worked across the country in a variety of bedside, facility, regional and enterprise leadership roles in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and the University of Tennessee Doctor of Pharmacy program. After completing her 2-year post-doctoral residency in Pharmacotherapy at the Medical University of South Carolina, she specialized in adult and pediatric critical care, with national publications and presentations across a variety of healthcare issues, before shifting her focus on scalable evidence-based clinical performance and clinical economics strategy across complex health systems. 

With an MBA in Healthcare Management, Dr. Thompson is an experienced healthcare executive, with expertise and focus on the discovery, strategy, and scalable execution of standards of excellence through evidence-based decisions, value analysis, physician engagement, operations alignment, and structure and process optimization. She has demonstrated excellence in the design of organizational strategy for clinical innovation, drugs and devices, physician engagement, negative variation elimination, issue resolution and implementation of growth initiatives that solve for industry challenges but measures herself on patient and provider experience.
