The pandemic highlighted the vulnerabilities in the healthcare supply chain as most hospitals did not have visibility of on-hand inventory levels and usage rates. Many hospital supply chain executives are now considering inventory management solutions to close the loop in the supply chain that ERPs and EHRs cannot. In this session, participants will learn about some of the current challenges facing the supply chain, how inventory management systems resolve many of these challenges, and the importance of clinical engagement before, during, and after the implementation of an inventory management system.
