Aligning Population Health and Supply Chain to Reduce Clinical Variation

Allina Health’s population health governance framework systematically identifies and removes clinical variation, while aligning it with system-wide planning and supply chain management and governance. This framework centers on system-wide opportunity analyses and quantification, approval and alignment, resourcing, tracking and evaluation. This session will explore how clinical operations and supply chain are integrated into this governance structure to address two key measurements of performance – Total Cost of Care and Clinical Expense to Produce.
