Sam Grove’s 26-year career with the U.S. Marine Corps provided opportunities to hone his skills and knowledge in process improvement methodologies. This included an assignment to the inspector general operations with direct oversight and compliance responsibilities for the eastern half of the United States.
His penchant for process improvement led to a post-military career as a consultant specializing in helping Fortune 500 companies evolve and improve in this area. His successful engagements led to his current role with Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH), the largest hospital system in New Jersey.
Grove’s education includes an M.S. and MBA, along with Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He enjoys engaging audiences and advancing their knowledge by presenting concepts from seemingly disparate areas or professions and later identifying meaningful links and similarities between these areas resulting in a deeper understanding of the subject at hand.
