Hani Elias co-founded Lumere in 2012 and the company was acquired by GHX as a wholly owned subsidiary in January 2020. He provides strategic vision for the company and advises health system executives on how to achieve the best clinical outcomes at an optimal cost. Under his leadership, Lumere was named as one of the 2019 Best Places to Work in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare and one of the 2019 Best Places to Work in Chicago by Crain’s Chicago Business.

Elias is a frequent presenter and panelist on topics including evidence-based care, healthcare disruption, physician engagement, process improvement and spend management. He previously served as a consultant in McKinsey & Company's healthcare practice, where he helped found the firm's health economics think tank, the Center for U.S. Health System Reform.

Elias holds BA, JD and MPH degrees from Harvard University and was a Paul & Daisy Soros Fellow.
